Lodging

We stay in mid-range hotels. I include links to the hotels we've stayed in on previous trips, but there is no promise we'll be in the same place next time.

Note: while clean and safe these hotels are not as luxurious as their websites make them out to be!

Anticipated Schedule

This is what we plan for the 2019-20 class. This is tentative but pretty close to what we'll do. We'll hold a number of additional short classes at the hotel or on site. (Leaving on the 27th is pretty firm, but the return date might change 1 or 2 days.)

Flights

You must either travel with the group (and me) to Greece or make sure you will be at the Athens airport when we arrive. We are doing activities right upon our arrival. You can make separate plans for travel home if you wish or come back with the rest of the group.

Typically, we fly overnight to Athens with one change of plane in route.

On the way back we do it in reverse, only because of time changes we arrive late on the same day we depart.

After you are accepted you will get detailed information on flights which are purchased separately.

Previous classes

Over the years the class has evolved. Look at the schedule on this page as a general outline and subject to revision.

The 2016-17 winter break trip is described here. The May term trip had a different schedule and logistics, and you can see information on it here.
