The Stadium at Olympia
Used and rebuilt over a period of years, we see it now as it was in the 4th cent. BCE.
Here the track events were held. It is said that 40,000 people could sit or stand (on the grass) around the track.

Vaulted entrance for athletes allows them to move from the sacred precinct directly into the stadium while the "fans" would still be separated.

Most years we go for a lap on the ancient tract. In 2017 it was very muddy so we just lined up and faked it.
