You start by heading out of the harbor going east around the headland.
You can also take a water taxi, but the walk is paved and pleasant.
Hydra is noted for not having cars and trucks, but you may be lucky (?) and encounter the only motorized vehicles on the island: the trash trucks.
The goal is Mandraki and its sand "organized" beach nestled in this little inlet.
Along the path you find dramatic views.
