To the north west side of the cemetery is the so-called street of the tombs.

What you see here are reproductions, the originals are in the museum.

The road through the sacred gate split with the right hand fork going to Eleusis and the left hand fork going to Peiraeus. This portion is now known as the street of the tombs.

These are posted on the north side of the street.

This structure, along the north side of the street near the fork is the remains of a massive tomb dating from the end of the 5th cent. BC.
