The Monastery Chapel

Patmos, Greece

A view just to the left of the previous picture, looking at the exonarthex of the chapel, with various supporting beams that have been added for safety over the years. Through the visible doors is the nave of the church itself, and (to the right) the entrance to the chapel of Christodoulos that contains his relics.

There are five "hot button" areas on this picture that when clicked, reveal close-ups of the frescoes, or, in one case, a view of the iconostasis inside the chapel.

Sorry, but it was rather difficult to take pictures inside the chapel.
