Ancient Corinth is not exactly at modern Corinth, but it is only a few klicks away. Modern Corinth is no one's idea of wonderful resort town - go for Nafplio if that's what your looking for, but there are some hotels there.

The Acrocorinth is not directly accessible from the ancient ruins, but is perhaps a 1km or two away. And it is a steep climb, so think of it as a second destination.

Isthmia isn't that far away, there are some ruins left to show the place for the ancient games.

Various day trip tours out of Athens include Corinth and may also include Mycenae and Epidaurus.

Corinth is reachable on the national highway that runs from Athens west.

The crossing of the canal is a good stop for a 10-min break for toilets and drinks.
